Here be dragons.

The server made it fairly hard to raid this lockout. We killed one of the new bosses fairly early on Thursday, but because of various issues we didn’t get to try Sindragosa before Tuesday, last day of the lockout. It started out ok, got some tries on her and had some small progress, but then she decided to bug out. After having to soft reset the instance, she worked again, and we killed her quite late in the evening. Another Worst Kill Eu for us there, but down is down so whatevs.

ZOMG DARGON! — Someone had hidden Cardiz’ mount under the dragon corpse.

Unfortunately it was pretty late, and even though we had plenty of tries left there was no time to try The Lich King himself. Hoping for a better server this week, fingers feathers crossed!

So we haven’t updated for a little while, but we have been doing a bit of raiding whenever the shitserver allows it. We killed Professor Putricide last lockout. Should have done it the week before, but that’s another story. Anyways, on to more recent stuff.

This week a new wing opened up, The Crimson Hall, containing the bosses The Blood Prince Council and Blood-Queen Lana’thel. We started on the Council, where we possibly scored the worst kill in EU after a few wipes. After the Council we went up to the Blood-Queen, and that fight can be seen here:

New year, new content.

This lockout we got a new wing open in Icecrown Citadel, Plagueworks. This wing contains Festergut, Rotface and Professor Putricide. Tried to do a raid on patch day, but that got fucked right up the butt by the utterly shit server that is Stormscale. Went again Thursday and killed the two first fairly easily.

Brood Breed Breathe deeply.

So the broodmother has returned to Azeroth in a new and updated form, still breeding like crazy but not breathing as much. We swung by her lair (it’s just a cave really, hardly any gold there at all), and made quick work of her and most of her eggs. We knew Onyxia her self would be a fairly easy boss, but had some hope that the achievements would be slightly harder. Not so much as it turned out.

Summer is here close (depending a bit on how far north you live), and it’s starting to show on the sign-ups. We had plans on practicing the hard mode on Freya, or Frøya as we Norwegians call her, but settled for the semi hard mode and a day off instead. We had tried this a bit really early on, but sort of hit a brick wall, so imagine our surprise when we came back and did it in 3 tries. Good times. To balance things out we played horribly for the rest of the night.
